Well, I am done hoping that I got the job. There are 2 days left in the week, (today & Friday), I really don't think I will hear anything positive back from them. Should I email them Friday? What should I say?
Today at work I am putting together a lunch-n-learn. So that at least is something to look forward to. Also, If I don't get the job I applied for, I at least get my own office at my current job. So there's another thing to look forward to.

Honestly I would give it more time. It was only just last week right? It took FOREVER to hear on my last jobs. From interview to hiring I think it was 2 months on my last two jobs. I know it is hard to be patient. Maybe on Tuesday send a nice follow up letter saying you hope to hear soon.
ReplyDeleteIt was actually the week before last. I send a thank you email the day after the interview. That is when she told me that they would let me know either way (yes or no) the week of the 30th. I'm not giving up all hope, but at this point, I am thinking it's a no. Do you still think I should send a letter next week? I just don't want to seem pushy and overstep my boundaries.
ReplyDeleteif it was the week before last then I would send a letter via mail today. This isn't a thank you this is a touching base and if there is anything information needed to help with their decision don't hesitate to ask. Hope to hear from you soon.
